Really enjoyed reading clapclap.org’s post on the history of the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah that seems to be everywhere. I always liked the John Cale version and even the overplayed Jeff Buckley version. But now having seen kd Lang’s version, I think she really nails it and does the song right…really is the best version I’ve heard.
